Ten: Hewitt s grass allergy doesn t stop him winning

LONDON, June 15 AAP - Australian tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt revealed today he is allergic
to grass - but that didn't stop him earning a semi-final clash with Pete Sampras in the
Queen's tournament.
Hewitt, who beat Sampras in the final last year, said doctors in Belgium diagnosed
a grass allergy earlier this year in tests to determine the cause of the mysterious breathing
problems that have plagued the 20-year-old.
He joked that he was going to blame the allergy for last year's first round exit at
Wimbledon, but admitted he did not notice it during his straight sets wins over ...
