BIDOR, Mon. - Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu has asked Projek
Lebuhraya Utara Selatan, the North South Expressway concessionaire to conduct
a study on the possibility of moving the Jelapang Toll Plaza in Ipoh to
a more strategic location.
"PLUS needs to make a detailed study as to whether the plaza situated
at the Ipoh-Changkat Jering stretch of the NSE can be moved to another
site to avoid accidents," he said.
However, he said the Government would also have to look into the legal
implications as toll fees would have to be collected from the public. He
