SA: Car rental company reports strong growth

ADELAIDE, July 17 AAP - Australian-owned national car rental company Delta Europcar said today it had grabbed a significant stake of the $400 million airport car rental business just 12 months after entering the market.

The Delta rental company was formed 13 years ago in Melbourne and now boasts a car rental fleet of 6,500 vehicles.

But it only gained access to the airport rental sector in July last year when it took over existing company National Car Rental.
