THE Central Retail Corp. (CRC), the largest local retail
conglomerate, says that the various businesses under its umbrella saw growth
of about 17 per cent during the first six months of this year.
Chief executive Suthichart Chirathivat said the substantial growth was
due to the ability of each business unit to improve merchandising to better
meet real customer targets, as well as develop a clear price-point structure
for their products.
He said the group has received positive feedback from the business
units - Central Department Store, Robinson Department Store, Big C Super
Center, Super Sport, Power Buy and Marks & Spencer.
