AMWAY (Thailand) Co Ltd has been chosen to distribute Thai-Danish Red Cow
UHT milk, a move that is expected to boost the milk's annual sales by 1.2
million packages. The company yesterday signed the distribution contract
with the Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry. The agreement, effective
September 4, marks the ministry's attempt to boost sales of milk from the
state-owned Dairy Farming Promotion Organization (DFPO), said deputy minister
Newin Chidchob.
The move is also aimed at alleviating oversupply in the market and
increasing farmers' incomes, Newin said. He added the ministry expects
to reap annual revenue of about Bt40 million to Bt50 ...
