STATEMENT OF INTEREST
I have no personal interest in the matters to which I am testifying.
I
am not representing any client in this hearing, and I have not been
paid
or received any research funding from any entity in the past two years
in order to advocate on this issue in any way.
Because of the subject matter of my testimony, and because of my affiliation
with a state university, I should make totally clear that I am testifying
in my individual capacity, and that my words in no way reflect the
position
of the University of California or the State of California.
