NSW: Teen grows facial hair and deep voice after weight vitamins
A Sydney tribunal has been told a teenage girl trying to gain weight grew facial hair
and developed a deep voice after receiving what she believed were vitamin injections from
a GP.
Dr MONIER GAD is facing charges of professional misconduct before the Medical Tribunal
for allegedly giving his patient anabolic steroids as part of a testosterone treatment
three years ago.
The patient, who cannot be named, first went to see Dr GAD in April 1998, aged 16,
and began a treatment in the hope of putting on weight.
