Fed: Money for wine industry research
CANBERRA, Aug 22 AAP - The wine industry will get $4.5 million to develop an industry
research centre, Agriculture Minister Warren Truss said today.
The centre, with its headquarters in South Australia, is being established to boost
research into winemaking practices including improvements to productivity.
Mr Truss said the money would go towards both building extensions and the purchase
of analytical, fermentation and harvesting machinery.
