Brett Hull Joining Red Wings
DETROIT (AP) -- Brett Hull slipped on a Detroit Red Wings jersey Thursday, becoming the third impact star to do so this summer.
``The chance to go to the Stanley Cup and win a Stanley Cup is great right now,'' Hull said during a news conference at Joe Louis Arena.
Detroit signed the 37-year-old right wing on Wednesday. The deal is for about $9 million over two years, a team source told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
After ending last season with a disappointing first-round playoff loss to Los Angeles, the Red Wings have not been shy about their intentions.
