GOLF: WA youngster wins world junior golf title
SYDNEY, Sept 3 AAP - West Australian Rick Kulacz appears destined for golf's heights
after winning the world junior championship.
Australian junior champion Kulacz, 16, shot six-under-par 282 to win by a stroke from
better-known teammate Steven Bowditch at the Vista Vallarta Club de Golf in Mexico.
Kulacz, a one handicapper at Perth's Hartfield Country Club, became the youngest player
ever to represent WA at senior level last year.
He follows in the steps of European tour player Adam Scott who won the world junior
title in 1997.
