838 "New Technology Enterprises" Were Canceled
CHINA, Sep 17, 2001 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- A committee in Zhongguancun has canceled the new technology qualifications of 838 enterprises and asked them to turn in New Technology Enterprises Permitting Certificates and New Technology Enterprises Recognition Certificates.
It is known that the above-mentioned 838 enterprises include 460 home-funded and 378 foreign-funded ones. Their industries are not large in scale and vary from electricity information to environmental protection. There're several causes for their canceling:
