Binge eating disorder is the most common and most recently identified of all eating disorders. Psychological stress, which so many are experiencing now, is commonly a precursor to episodes of binge eating. Many of my clients and friends report a drastic increase in their binge eating since the attack on America last week. Estimates are that 2 million Americans suffer from it.

Overeaters Anonymous states persons with this condition have recurrent episodes of binge eating, which is characterized by:
