welcome the US Senate's ratification of the Vietnam-US Trade Agreement
and consider this an encouraging move in the normalization of bilateral
relations.
"The Vietnam-US Trade Agreement resulted from efforts made by both
countries. Early ratification of the Agreement and bringing it into effect
are in the interests of the two countries.
Vietnam will soon consider its ratification of the BTA in conformity
with Vietnam's legal provisions.
