EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne missed practice with the New York Giants on Wednesday because of injuries, leaving Damon Washington as the probable starter at running back this weekend against St. Louis.

Washington replaced him and ran for 90 yards on 25 carries. However, he sprained a joint in his left shoulder. He practiced Wednesday.
