It's back to square one for Englewood's $500 million redevelopment
plan.
A Superior Court judge ruled Friday that the Planning Board
hearings that paved the way for the redevelopment were invalid because
the board failed to publish a proper notice of its 1999 hearings.
Saying state law permits no wiggle room on the subject, Judge
Jonathan N. Harris called the lack of public notification a "fatal
defect."
