(Brown Daily Herald) (U-WIRE) PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A full house of students engaged the issue of interracial dating in Brown University's Salomon 001 Monday night in a forum organized for Multiracial Heritage Week.

The idea was to bring important issues to the surface for discussion and debate, said event organizer Alissa Mayers.

Topics ranged from the sexualization and exotification of race to constructs of white beauty and privilege, and from the feasibility of interracial dating to general issues of race and socio-economic status at Brown.
