Today's case in New York brings to 10 the number of people that the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirm as having inhalation
anthrax. Many of these cases have a circumstantial link to the mail.
There are concerns that relatively small amounts of anthrax bacteria
are involved, and that has researchers wondering about current estimates
of how many anthrax spores are needed to make people sick. Daniel
