WEST PATERSON -- Proponents of changing the borough's name may not participate in
tonight's debate, saying the mayor will use the event to showcase a
future Republican political star.

Tonight's scheduled event was set up by Mayor Garry Coletti to
educate voters about the pros and cons of changing the 84-year-old name
to Garret Mountain by referendum on Tuesday's election ballot.
