Fed: Lees attacks Stott Despoja as party on brink of losses

CANBERRA, Nov 11 AAP - Former Australian Democrats leader Meg Lees today lambasted
the woman who ousted her, Natasha Stott Despoja, as the party contemplated an election
backslide.

Senator Lees issued a blistering statement against Senator Stott Despoja for the first
time since she was dumped from the top job seven months ago.

It came within hours of Senator Stott Despoja's press conference, where she blamed
anti-GST sentiment for much of the party's lost votes.

The party faces a loss of three senators after the Greens appeared to outpoll them,
