BRUNSWICK-- Hazel Marion Miller of Stone Street, mother of six children and foster mother of many more, died Nov. 14, 2001, at Mid Coast Hospital. She was 75.

Over a period of eight years, Mrs. Miller, a homemaker, was the foster parent of 23 children, aged 2 months to 2 years. Most of the children who were in Mrs. Miller's care stayed with her for a short time and left to be adopted.

"I remember it so vividly," said a daughter, Bonita Labonte of Harpswell. "I was 13 years old the day the first baby, Sandy, came to live with us. ...
