Prince Charles' staff accused of racism

LONDON, Dec 07, 2001 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- A former secretary to Prince Charles told an employment tribunal she had been the victim of racist jokes and name-calling by his aides while working for the prince at his Highgrove estate in west England.

Elizabeth Burgess said she believed the fact she was black worked against her. "They wanted a white face at Highgrove, and I was not that face," she said.
