NSW: Teenage girl looked forward to joining God
Just days before 15-year-old KARIE YU was crushed to death by a tree felled during
a storm she wrote in her diary to God: "Thank you that my time on earth is running short
so that I can go to you."
Copies of the excerpt from KARIE'S diary to God were circulated to mourners who attended
funeral services for her and her classmate CAITLIN TWIBLE today.
The pair were killed during Monday's storm when a tree uprooted and crashed onto a
tent during a school camping trip.
