Dateline: SPOKANE, Washington WestCoast Hospitality Corp. acquired Red Lion Hotels Inc. from Hilton Hotels Corp. for about dlrs 50.6 million.

The deal includes eight company-owned Red Lion hotels and 33 more leased and franchised Red Lion hotels, one owned Doubletree hotel property and one leased Doubletree hotel.

WestCoast said Wednesday the acquisition increases the number of hotel rooms in its portfolio to more than 15,000 from about 8,600.
