(The Lantern) (U-WIRE) COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Unscrupulous credit card solicitation
on campus is under fire as Ohio State University prepares for an exclusive
credit card contract.
"An exclusive contract will permit the university to implement a strong
Code of Conduct to control sale practices by the chosen vendor and
eliminate the profusion of credit card vendors around campus," said
Eric Busch, assistant vice president for student affairs.
Busch also leads the credit card solicitation task force.
OSU also can expect anywhere from $1 million to $2 million a year
with this exclusive partnership. Busch said he expects this to be
