Well, it may be to early to say that, but the Flashes are clearly the hottest team in the league approaching the second half of the season.

After Saturday's 70-67 win at Bowling Green (14-4, 4-3 MAC), Kent State has won 10 of 11 games and is alone in first place in the MAC East. At 7-1, Kent State is a game ahead of Ohio (6-2), who lost 95- 65 at Western Michigan Saturday. MAC West leader Ball State (13-6, 6-2) lost at Miami, 80-77.
