Light rain and an overcast sky all over Bangladesh caused a sharp
fall in the maximum day temperature by as high as ten degrees Celsius
from
place to place and brought back the chilly weather, partially disrupting
life in Dhaka and elsewhere across the country.
The minimum night temperature, however, rose by two to three degrees
Celsius on Sunday as the presence of cloud mass prevented radiation
of
heat from the earth surface back to the sky.
Akram Hossain, Director, Bangladesh Meteorological Department told
The
Independent that the minimum night temperature would fall today and
mild
cold wave is expected within 48 hours.
