SPECULATORS in second board shares were back in full force on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) yesterday, after lying low the past two weeks following talk that market regulators were coming down hard on stock manipulators.

Despite the broadly weaker market yesterday, Sinmah Resources Bhd' s warrants hit limit-up, gaining 57 sen or 46.3 per cent to RM1.80 on 6.6 million shares traded. Sinmah itself closed 84 sen or 44.4 per cent higher at RM2.73 - just a sen shy of limit-up. They were the biggest gainers of the day, followed by BTM Resources Bhd, Lipo Corp Bhd, Ta Win Holdings Bhd, Asian Pacific Holdings Bhd, Priceworth Wood Products Bhd and Four season (Malaysia) ...
