(The Breeze) (U-WIRE) HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Broke your New Year's resolution
already? Those who started their new year on the wrong foot have a
second chance Tuesday.
Feb. 12 marks the new moon and the Chinese New Year. The 15-day celebration
begins with the first new moon and ends on the full moon, Feb. 27.
The Chinese calendar is based on a combination of lunar and solar
movements, so the new year falls on a different date each year.
