THE Kuok Group's flagship commercial development in Johor Baru, the
City Square, is scheduled to open for business late this year.
The RM350 million property, a joint venture with the Johor Baru City
Council, is a fully integrated mixed development comprising a
six-storey retail podium and a 30-storey office tower.
An earlier plan to incorporate a five-star hotel in the development
has now been deferred indefinitely due to poor market conditions.
City Square, which is being spearheaded by the joint venture company,
Merit Properties Sdn Bhd, is one of the most sought after names in
the property market in Johor Baru.
