(Rocky Mountain Collegian) (U-WIRE) FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- North America may not be absorbing as much of the world's carbon dioxide as has been thought previously, according to research being conducted in part by Colorado State University scientists.

A group of atmospheric scientists from around the world have joined together in the TransCom 3 project to study the Earth's carbon dioxide sources and sinks.
