(Daily Mississippian) (U-WIRE) OXFORD, Miss. -- Due to the abundant
success and publicity of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues," Mars
and Venus are once again at odds. Actually, the never-ending struggle
between the sexes has simply found itself in the limelight yet again.
This doesn't surprise me at all.
We live in a society in which a man can publicly grab his crotch and
brag about the size of his penis with no problem. Something as simple
as a collection of works entitled "The Vagina Monologues," however,
causes people to cringe and blush. The latter is what incites the
controversy.
