Monday, March 11, 2002 -- The two victims of the terror attack in
the heart of Netanya Saturday night - nine-month-old Avia Malka from
South Africa and Yisrael Yehiya, 27, of Bnei Brak - were laid to rest
at the Yarkon Cemetery yesterday.
The baby girl was fatally wounded by bullets in the head and abdomen
and was taken to Netanya's Laniado Hospital immediately after the
attack. She was later transferred to Schneider Children's Hospital
in Petah Tikva, where she died of her wounds.
