(The Daily Universe) (U-WIRE) PROVO, Utah -- Sophomore Jamie Lambert
will be the only member of the BYU women's swim team at the NCAA Championships
this weekend, March 22-23.
Head coach Stan Crump said he sees a positive influence for the rest
of the team as Lambert represents BYU on a national level in the 100-
meter breaststroke.
Crump said swimmers like Lambert are a motivation to the other team
members when they see the dream of making the NCAA cuts can be accomplished.
"It shows them the way and gives them a little hope," Crump said.
However, Lambert said she doesn't feel she is a role model for the
rest of the team.
