Dateline: NEW YORK Pavel Bure scored twice and Eric Lindros added a goal as the New York Rangers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 Monday night to win their fifth straight game, a day after being eliminated from the NHL playoffs a fifth straight year.

The Rangers were eliminated Sunday night when Montreal beat Ottawa and tightened its hold on the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
