(The Lantern) (U-WIRE) COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two New Era Cap Company employees
spoke Monday about the continued strike and unfair labor practices
at the Derby, N.Y., factory.
Jane Howald, president of the Communication Workers of America local
14177, and Kathy Ketterer, vice president of the CWA local 14177,
related stories of injury, harassment and aggravation to a group of
nearly 30 student strike supporters.
Howald and Ketterer have both undergone multiple surgeries because
of injuries they allegedly suffered from working at the New Era factory.
