Thai IT vendors New System Group is forming a joint venture with Japan' s Sumitomo to expand its operations overseas. Managing Director Somsak Limkunatham said the overseas holding company would be established next month. New System Group is banking on Sumitomo's expertise in providing engineering solutions for manufacturing industries, particularly the automotive industry. The joint-venture company will have Bt60 million in registered capital, equally shared by New System and Sumitomo. The holding firm would make its first overseas investment with local partners in Vietnam in June, before expanding to Singapore and China by the end of the year, Somsak said. Sumitomo ...
