Ajinomoto Inc, the Japan-based manufacturer of beverages and seasoning products, announced yesterday it will make its Bangkok subsidiary, Ajinomoto (Thailand), the company's regional headquarters for Southeast Asia, effective this month. At the same time Ajinomoto also revealed a plan to invest 6 billion (Bt2 billion) here to establish its first ribonucleotide (a seasoning ingredient) factory outside Japan.
