BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) _ Hemmings Motor News is being sold to the publisher
American City Business Journals Inc. for an undisclosed price.
American City, based in Charlotte, N.C., will keep the magazine, and
its 120 employees, in Bennington, American City chief executive and
chairman Ray Shaw said Thursday. Both companies are privately-held.
Hemmings is a monthly publication for hobbyists and collectors of
antique, vintage and special interest cars with 650 to 750 pages of
advertising each month for collector cars and parts, restoration services
and tools, literature and car shows, and rallies.
