And I'm John Ydstie.
Today Kenyan Rodgers Rop won the Boston Marathon. It took him two
hours, nine minutes and two seconds, and he ran the race faster than
17,000 other people. One person not among the contenders this year
was commentator Bill Harley.
BILL HARLEY:
My friend Bob(ph) called me up on Patriot's Day last year. `Hey,'
he said, `do you want to run in the Boston Marathon?' Thousands
run in the Boston Marathon, but not many ...
