(Daily Californian) (U-WIRE) BERKELEY, Calif. -- It's still the "Granddaddy of Them All," but the oldest college bowl game in
the nation may not have enough room to house its two favorite sons after this
season.
The Rose Bowl -- which has hosted the Pac-10 and Big Ten champions since the
conferences bridged a pact in 1946 -- will no longer guarantee such a pairing
after agreeing to join the lucrative New Alliance prior to this season.
And that has some traditionalists miffed.
The decision by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association and the Pac-10
and Big Ten conferences to associate with the College Football Bowl Alliance,
