Mary Waldeck wrapped her arms around Daisy Mae and groaned as she
lifted the English bulldog into the back of her truck. At her feet,
a
second bulldog, Sophie, waited to be hoisted up.
"I need to get a ramp for these dogs," said Waldeck, who was headed
from Leonia to Manhattan for the Riverside Dog Run at 105th Street.
She
and her husband make the trek over the George Washington Bridge three
times a week, so their dogs can enjoy an unfettered romp ...
