(Daily Skiff) (U-WIRE) FORT WORTH, Texas -- Television has been a training ground for film actors since it was created.
Some have gone from the small screen to the large with relative ease. Michael
Douglas, Demi Moore, Goldie Hawn and many others have made the jump with
varying, but still high, degrees of success.
Others have not performed so admirably. Two words: Ted Danson. Here are two
more: David Duchovny. His first starring role is in "Playing God," a
hallucinogenic thriller that somehow manages to entertain while screaming,
"straight to video!"
Duchovny's nonchalant style of acting, which he should go ahead and trademark,
works beautifully ...
