Thursday, April 25, 2002 -- "Is the Foreign Ministry politicized?" President Moshe Katsav asked Moshe Yaeger, Yosef Govrin, and Aryeh Oded when the three former ambassadors, all veteran foreign ministry employees now retired, presented him with a two- volume history of the Foreign Ministry's first fifty years.

The three were commissioned to edit the volume in 1998 by Zeev Suffot, then chairman of the Foreign Ministry Retirees' Committee.
