(Daily Trojan) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- Controversy continues to surround
the popular college-aged clothier Abercrombie & Fitch, with the latest
demonstration against the company's new T-shirt design line, which
contains racist caricatures of Asian Americans. Hundreds protested
in front of the San Francisco store last Thursday and other rallies
and boycott campaigns are mounting nationwide.
But southern California has not fully caught on to the issue. The
Daily Trojan reported Tuesday that student leaders around the area
