Chinese Interest Rate Would Be Marketized in This Year
CHINA, Apr 30, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- According to the analysis
from insiders, the marketization of interest rate would make further
practical step in second half of this year, the interest rate of deposit
and loan would be opened, and would be implemented market pricing.
In July 2000, Dia Xianglong, the President of People's Bank of China
said that the timetable for marketization of RMB interest rate were
about three years. At the Summit of Chinese Enterprises which closed
