NSW: Mobile phone text messages feature in corruption inquiry

SYDNEY, May 2 AAP - A corruption inquiry today continued to follow a trail of mobile phone text messages allegedly used by key players in a Sydney council cash-for-building-approval scandal.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is holding public hearings into allegations that councillors and officers from Rockdale City Council, in Sydney's south, attempted to solicit or receive payment to support development applications.
