JOHANNESBURG, Feb. 9 (IPS) -- The world's largest private mining
company, Rio Tinto, is not a good corporate citizen, say
international trade unionists, who have decided to launch a global
campaign against the mining giant.
At a three-day conference organized by the International
Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers Union
(ICEM) in Johannesburg, which ended yesterday, unionists decided
to organize a major international action within a month.
