AFL: Bulldogs take step back

MELBOURNE, May 13 AAP - Taking a step back, rather than running in to take more shots, might be the Western Bulldogs' next move to solve their AFL goalkicking woes.

The `Dogs kicked a wasteful 8.15 in yesterday's 10-point loss to Collingwood and so far this season have only managed 44 per cent accuracy.

It was the third time this season inaccurate kicking for goal was a big factor in the Bulldogs losing.

They are second-bottom with one win and have spent plenty of time at training in front of goal.
