Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa held talks with French officials
Monday focusing on a possible Middle East peace conference, the situation
in Iraq and ways to boost cultural ties with the Arab world.
French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin told reporters after
meeting Moussa that any future peace conference should include discussions
on Palestinian statehood, and that representatives from Syria and
Lebanon need to take part.
"For a political solution, one must build a dialogue by way of an
