(The Lantern) (U-WIRE) COLUMBUS, Ohio -- In the late '80s, anti-cigarette and drug campaigns began smoking up our television waves in between Saturday morning cartoons and after school specials.

The most well known ad of that time was the egg in the frying pan. The bodiless hand would say, "This is your brain" pointing to the egg. Than cracking the egg in the pan he would say, "This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?"

For the next 30 minutes viewers would be haunted by the sizzling fried egg and be praying mom wouldn't yell, "scrambled or sunny side up" for breakfast.

Almost a decade later, the ad campaigns have become a self-made ...
